We understand how enormous of an accomplishment it is to be the first in your family to graduate, which is why we award first-generation students with a special stole at this ceremony.

First-Generation Student

A first-generation student is someone whose parents/guardians did not complete a four-year college degree or a student raised by a single parent/guardian who did not complete a four-year college degree.
